Three Early Signees for Texas A&M Football that Will Make an Immediate Impact
Which Early Signees for Texas A&M Football Will Make the Biggest Immediate Impact?
Texas A&M football is closing very strongly in this 2024 class, with a few recruitments still pending as of the time of writing. Mike Elko locked down not only a lot of the roster, but a lot of key players for the incoming class in this short amount of time he has been given.
Texas A&M football fans should be well familiar with many of these key names at this point. Despite a few high-profile decommitments and flips—Cam Coleman, Drelon Miller, and Weston Davis come to mind, although the latter two were before Elko's time—this is still a signing class stuffed to the gills with blue-chip prospects.
At the time of this article being written, none of the top three prospects—Terry Bussey, Dominick McKinley, and Dealyn Evans—have signed, at least publicly. Bussey and McKinley are expected to hold off until February, but there's a chance Evans signs this evening. Texas A&M football's lowest-rated commitment, Tristan Jernigan, also has yet to sign officially, but will do so at 4 PM today.
Those top three players, should they end up in Maroon and White as expected, all are candidates for this list. While the waiting on their respective decisions may not be preferable in the minds of Texas A&M football fans, though, this can also be an opportunity for a closer look at the guys who did end up signing and how they may figure into the picture next year.
So who are some of the top candidates to see some early playing time out fo the Aggies' current signees? Let's do some prognostication and pick the top three that jump out off the page.
