Three must-win recruitments for Texas A&M football over Longhorns: WR Kaliq Lockett

One of the top receivers in the nation, Lockett is a true-blue five-star recruit out of Sachse. Standing at 6'2", 175 LBs, he has a prime frame to grow into and fits the archetype of a #1 receiver on a high-level team.

Lockett has set his official visit schedule for the summer, and will visit both College Station and Austin. He is scheduled to be with A&M on June 7 (after originally planning to visit USC on that date), and will be down in Austin on June 21.

Lockett will also visit LSU and Florida State.

This is exactly the type of recruitment that the Aggies brought in Holmon Wiggins to win. Texas has the upper hand as far as perception with offensive skill players at the moment, but a big season out of Weigman and the Aggie offense could flip that script—as could winning a big recruitment like Lockett's.
