Three must-win recruitments for Texas A&M football over Longhorns: OT Michael Fasusi

Under Jimbo Fisher, the Aggies seemed to be dead in the water in this recruitment. The Aggies were doing poorly in general in 2025 early on under Fisher, but Elko has come in and restored A&M's position in several huge battles, including Fasusi's.

The huge, five-star offensive tackle out of Lewisville is one of three highly-rated players at the position in the Metroplex for this cycle, the others being Denton Ryan's Ty Haywood and Mesquite's Lamont Rogers. The Aggies are in on all three, but the Longhorns' best shot, as things stand right now, is with Fasusi.

To that end, Fasusi currently holds a couple of predictions to end up committing to the Longhorns. The latest of those was over a month ago, however, and it appears that Fasusi will take his summer visits before announcing a decision. Like Lockett, he is scheduled to be in College Station on June 7 and in Austin on June 21.

Other schools vying for Fasusi's signature include LSU, Missouri, and Oklahoma. I have a feeling that this will come down to the Aggies and Longhorns before all is said and done, however.
