Three reasons Texas A&M football can decimate McNeese and appease Aggie fanbase
3 reasons Texas A&M football gets back on track vs. McNeese: Top receiver emerges
Elko mentioned somewhat mysteriously that he felt like the Aggies had a no. 1 receiver a while back. Given the performances we saw last week, though, Aggie fans are still somewhat in the dark on who that may be.
I think we see the guy emerge this weekend. My money is on Noah Thomas, but the exciting true freshman from Timpson, Terry Bussey, could have something to say about that. I'd love to see him get more involved in the offense.
This is to say nothing of when Jabre Barber is able to come back from his unfortunate injury. The Ags will be much better when they have a full complement in that wideout room, as it will allow everyone to slide into their more normal slots.
Whoever it ends up being, I think we see some big plays in the passing game made this weekend. Even though we didn't see it last week, that's a big part of Klein's offense—and one that will loom even larger as we go on throughout the year.
