Aggies can't afford defensive lapses
The Aggies defense was criticized for how they handled Bowling Green last week. Especially when tight end Harold Fannin Jr. ran with no challenge in the open field for a touchdown.
The defense cannot allow big plays, or they will play the price on the scoreboard.
Defensive end Nic Scourton talked about how the team needs to come out this weekend.
"We're going to go back and watch the tape, see what we've got to improve on, fix some things, get some guys glued in, and we're going to go to work," Scourton said.
On another hand, the defense didn't really flinch when it came to the run game against Bowling Green.
They held their opponents to under 100 yards rushing.
They'll need that same energy if they want to come out on top and give their offense some shots to cash in.
