Texas A&M will be going back into non-conference play against Bowling Green.
It's been an interesting two weeks for the Aggies, with quarterback changes and perhaps a controversy going into the rest of the season.
Here are three storylines to watch for Texas A&M football this weekend.
The new QB battle
After seeing what we saw with Marcel Reed controlling the offense and running the football, there's no doubt that Mike Elko is going to give the young man some more looks.
On the Aggie Football Hour, Elko was firm about the quarterback position moving forward, saying that the quarterback position will "likely be a game-time decision moving forward."
For those "Friday Night Lights" fans, this brings up a similar controversy of J.D. McCoy and Matt Saracen. Of course, coach Eric Taylor decided to go with his freshman phenom, McCoy. This doesn't necessarily mean that for the Aggies, respectively.
What will this mean for the future for the Aggies? Reed getting more snaps and Weigman getting less snaps?
Time will only tell, and patience will be needed on all parties such as the quarterbacks, coaches, and the entire offense.
Reed brings a new level to this offense that the rest of the team would love. They would have no problem adjusting to it.
As we know, every opponent is different, and they have to be treated like such.
Don't mess with Bazelak
This guy plays like he knows football.
He was a big reason as to why Bowling Green was able to stay in the game for four quarters against Penn State.
Elko credited Bazelak on his poise.
"Experienced quarterback. Has been in SEC stadiums and SEC environments. He's not going to get rattled," Elko said. "At Penn State two weeks ago, he was very comfortable."
Bazelak went for 25 of 39 for completions and passed for 254 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The defense will have to be on their feet to deflect footballs just like Bryce Anderson did against Florida for a pick six.
This is a sneaky good team, and they will be playing at full force this weekend.
Keep the ball on the ground
The receivers haven't made much noise to start the season.
This would be a good game to start that, but the Aggies worked really well on the ground against UF, going for 310 total rushing yards as a team.
Again, trusting the strength of your offense right now is more important than trying to prove points.
As long as the Aggies hold their ground at offensive line, they will be moving the ball just fine against Bowling Green.
The Falcons have had to deal with Kaytron Allen and Nick "The Quick" Singleton. Not exactly two guys any defense wants to go up against.
Le'Veon Moss and Amari Daniels will be the keys to winning this football game.
They showed just why against a cooked Gators defense.
