Three takeaways from Texas A&M football dismantling Missouri: A&M's defense could be the best in the conference

It's always tough to say this in a conference where you also have teams like Alabama and Georgia, but after yesterday's action, neither of those squads look near as intimidating as what A&M is on that side of the ball.

Funnily enough, I think it might be between the Aggies and Tennessee Volunteers at this point in the season. I think the Ags are playing as well as anyone on that side of the ball at the moment, and they just keep getting better.

A&M registered six sacks and eight tackles for loss en route to this dominant performance. Missouri averaged a paltry 2.3 yards per carry on the ground and 6 yards per attempt through the air. Coming into the day, they were averaging 5.16 YPC and 7 YPA.

The only thing that would have made this a better defensive performance is if the Ags had gotten some takeaways—and they had some near misses in that department as well. With big tests against LSU and Texas still on the schedule, it's great to see this defense continue to improve every single week.
