Top 2025 RB Target Sets Visit to Texas A&M Football
Atascocita Running Back Tory Blaylock Set to Visit Texas A&M Football this Weekend
Texas A&M football has gotten off to a roaring start in the 2025 class. Mike Elko notched big time commitments on back to back days from some top in-state defenders over this past week, and the Aggies are looking to press their momentum.
A&M has had the look of a well-oiled machine on the recruiting front recently much more so than in the waning days of the Fisher tenure. Elko has been very intentional in not only who he has targeted but also the programming for the on-campus vists. Fisher was able to get by on sheer force of will, but the structure beneath his position has been a mess.
In support of this notion has been how well the transfer portal visit days and, more recently, the junior days have gone for the Aggies. The past two that have been held in College Station have reportedly availed much with targets from this upcoming class, and they will be holding one more this upcoming weekend.
While a full visitor list has yet to be released, some of the names that have been flaoting around have been exciting. One of these names that has now confirmed his plans to visit is Atascocita RB Tory Blaylock, a longtime offensive target in this class.
Blaylock, who resides in nearby Houston, is well familiar with this Aggie program. This will be his first chance to visit campus under the new regime, however. You can bet that Elko and RB coach Trooper Taylor will roll out the red carpet, as Blaylock is a priority target for the Aggies.
According to his 247Sports page, Blaylock has been up to campus at least twice before this. If Elko and company can land Blaylock's commitment as the first skill player in the class, it would be a huge boon to the efforts going forward in the cycle—he, like Riggins and Pettaway, is the type of talent that other players flock to and want to play with at the college level.
