Trap games for every SEC team - Ole Miss Rebels

Prediction. Week 6. 532. ijupvdsbfdgoindagsoih. Oct. 5. 533

Finally coming to a game that is not on October 19! This is yet another chance for the Gamecocks to play spoiler. Just like with LSU, this is the front end of a two-game SEC road trip. Winning both games on such a trip is exceedingly rare for an SEC team to do, so the odds are better than not that the Rebs will drop one of these two.

And, just like with OU, this is a game that Carolina will have personal stakes in. Star receiver Juice Wells made headlines when he left Columbia last year after sitting out most of 2023 with an injury, making his way to Oxford instead. This will give an already-hostile Gamecock crowd even more fodder to work themselves into a frenzy, not to mention Wells’s spurned former teammates.

This also comes directly after a game against Kentucky which could prove to be a grind-it-out type of contest for the Rebs. Williams Brice is an underrated environment, and Ole Miss could be in for more than they bargained for with this being their first road game.

Don’t get me wrong—this is one that the Rebels should win. However, it is in a spot that much more favors the home Gamecocks, who will be coming off of a bye. Watch this one as an early spot where the highly-touted Rebels could trip up.
