Trap games for every SEC team - Georgia Bulldogs

525. oigjogoig. Oct. 5. 527. Prediction. Week 6

I know what you’re thinking: really? The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry a trap game? And after how last year’s matchup went, where the Tigers looked like they were going to pull off the upset for about three-quarters of the game?

Well, this may not be as crazy as it sounds at face value. UGA will be coming off of one of the biggest games of the year when they travel to Tuscaloosa the week prior, and may already be looking ahead to a game against the Texas Longhorns two weeks after.

Auburn is not as skilled of a team as the Bulldogs, there’s no question. However, it could be possible that all that talent at receiver starts to shine in what will be one of the most anticipated games for the Tigers on their entire schedule. This matchup—rivalry or not—will be a bigger game for them than it will be for the Dawgs.

Maybe I’m wrong, but this one feels like it has letdown potential for UGA. They could end up squeaking it out, or maybe Auburn can win in Athens for their first time since Cam Newton was in town.
