Trap games for every SEC team - Arkansas Razorbacks

Sam Pittman is another SEC head man who will have a tough task ahead in 2024. It seems that the fanbase’s patience with him is waning thin after a very poor showing last year, and with the exit of most of their best offensive weapons, things could be treacherous for the head hog.

Of course, this late in the season, it’s altogether possible that Pittman would be out the door and Petrino would have taken over. At least, that’s the frame of mind many on the outside looking in are taking.

In any case, Arkansas will likely struggle to make a bowl game. Traveling to Stillwater in week 2 will be a good litmus test for what we have in Fayetteville this year, but I’m looking towards the other end of the schedule for the Hogs’ trap game.

Sandwiched right between Texas and Missouri is this penultimate game of the season against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Now, again: La Tech is by no means a good team. Sonny Cumbie hasn’t done too terribly much in two years in Ruston, by which I mean he has gone 3-9 twice. But given the spot this comes for the Razorbacks, this one could get uncomfortable for Hog fans.
