Way-too-early prediction for Texas A&M football’s 2024 starting lineup

With spring over and done with, here’s how we see Texas A&M football’s starting 11 on each side looking against the Irish.

Way-too-early projection for Texas A&M football’s starting lineup in 2024

Only 100 days stand between us and Texas A&M football stepping foot on Kyle Field against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. One long, hot summer is all that we need endure before Aggie football is causing unnecessary heart rate spikes in fans all across the country. I can hardly wait!

With spring firmly behind us now, though, and the long summer months ahead, I figured now is as good a time as any to make some predictions for the starting lineup for the Aggies. There are some picks on here that are “duh” moments, and there are some that will be surprises.

This latter group will, in all likelihood, make me look really dumb sooner rather than later. But sometimes you have to put yourself out there! Let’s dive in.

Predicting Texas A&M football's starting lineup - QB: Conner Weigman

This is probably the easiest pick on the team at this point. Weigman is, hands down, the most talented passer on campus at this point (though freshman Miles O’Neill has an absolute cannon). He can make every throw on the field, and has impressive processing speed.

All signs point to Weigman being slated for a breakout year as the Aggies’ signal caller. A lot rides on his performance this year—I’m bullish on what the combo of him and Collin Klein can accomplish this fall.
