Predicting Texas A&M football's starting lineup - RB: Le’Veon Moss

I think there will be a rotation at the position, but I feel like we will see the lion’s share of the carries go to Moss. He is the most complete back right now out of the group, and—again, due in no small part to Klein’s influence—I think we could see a huge year out of Moss.

Health was a nagging issue for Le’Veon last year as well. He would be having a big game and all of a sudden be sidelined after sustaining a hit. The SEC is a physical league, and hopefully the addition of Tommy Moffitt can be a boon to Moss here.

The biggest area of improvement for Le’Veon that I would like to see this year is his ability to catch out of the backfield. There were several times where he was open and, whether due to a bad pass or a missed catch, the completion wasn’t there. If he can add that to his toolbox, we’ll be cooking with grease at the RB position.

We should still see a heavy dose of Rueben Owens, Amari Daniels, and even a little bit of EJ Smith as well. Moss should be the foremost of this group, but each have their own skills that will be utilized in this system.
