When is the spring game for Texas A&M football? Spring game time, date information announced

Texas A&M football fans are extremely excited for the upcoming season in Aggieland. The fall of 2024 will not only mark the first year under new head coach Mike Elko, but will also see several high-profile home games come to College Station.

In addition, the 12-team playoff makes its debut this season. Add in the finalization of (this round of) conference realignment, and it's an exciting time to follow college football.

Of course, there's quite some time before the Aggies take the field against Notre Dame on August 31. That doesn't mean, however, that we won't see the Maroon and White in Kyle before then: the annual spring game for Texas A&M football, marking the end of spring practice, will be fans' first chance to see what the 2024 edition of the Aggies might look like.

The Texas A&M football spring game is scheduled for April 20, 2024. It was announced today that the game will kick off at 1 PM central time. As someone who came home from the spring game with badly sunburned arms two years ago, be advised: pack some sunblock!

Though no team is going to lay their entire playbook out there for a simple exhibition game, there are still several different and quite interesting storylines Aggie fans are following that will have an impact on the spring game. The shift in offensive playstyle will be evident even if the team is running only some base concepts, and the skill of many of these players, especially the transfers, will be hotly anticipated.

I've got my eye on the receiver position. With Ainias Smith and Evan Stewart departing, will the majority of the snaps fall to the incumbent Muhammad, Walker, and Thomas? How have I just now realized that those are all actually first names as well? There are so many questions this spring, and I can't wait for practice to start and to eventually see the guys on the gridiron again.
