One Aggie quarterback and wideout duo might be feared across the SEC in 2024.

Texas A&M quarterback Connor Weigman has been a mystery with an upside for Aggie fans to get excited about. He's proved that he can handle a big game in primetime, especially when he made some great decisions and accurate throws in an upset win at Kyle Field against LSU.

Noah Thomas on the other hand will be a junior this upcoming season. He will be looked at as a main target for the A&M offense.

Now with Evan Stewart in an Oregon Duck uniform, it might be up to Noah Thomas to have a make-or-break season. If he makes it big, it could be a deadly duo in the SEC.

Both Texas A&M football players on the brink of their college prime years

Weigman had been plagued by an early injury last season that forced another tough year for Aggie football. Considering Weigman stays healthy, this could lead to a more consistent looking offense.

Thomas is a proven athlete who can show strength to catch the football on long routes. Even though it was short lived in 2023,

Weigman and Thomas showed there is some connection between the two Aggie players.

If this connection were to continue assuming both players stay healthy, it could be a lethal force for the next couple of seasons.

The only critique is that we haven't seen them take many reps together. This is only an opportunity to get more reps and see the field together full-time. This is their college prime; they have fresh legs in store for 2024. A new change at the head coaching position might've been what they needed to jumpstart the offense again.

Thomas is 6 foot 6 inches tall with a body that looks stronger than presented. He can reach up and be a monster one-on-one matchup against most cornerbacks in the game. Both players have potential to have breakout seasons, and for fans, they're ready for it.

Weigman has been looked at as a respected athlete who can use his legs if nobody is open. If he sees Thomas on a long route, Weigman will take a home run shot and give him a chance.
