SEC power rankings after week 1 - 15: Arkansas

The Hogs, since adding Bobby Petrino, have had a couple of games where they, Kiffin-like, have absolutely blown the doors off of low-level competition. They did so last year against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, winning by a massive margin in the first game of the year.

They weren't quite able to do that against Alabama A&M this year— who is not even a good FCS team, to be clear. They're 91st in that division per the SP+ ratings, and Arkansas, while winning emphatically, played around too much to move up in these ratings.

They're ranking lower here because a team below them moved up, but things don't look very promising for them at the moment. They have another tuneup game next week, facing Arkansas State, before they will take on Ole Miss in Oxford.

Then, they have a week of respite with Memphis before hosting Notre Dame. From there, it's all SEC the rest of the way. Could we see Sam Pittman out the door by the time Mississippi State comes to town in early November? It's a possibility.
