Power ranking the SEC after week 10: #6 - LSU

The Tigers were off this week ahead of their big game against Alabama at home this upcoming weekend. Bama will be rolling in with revenge on their mind for the last game in Death Valley, but with the way each team stacks up this year, that won’t be an easy thing to achieve.

The Tide are an early, slight favorite, and they boast what seems to be LSU’s kryptonite: a running quarterback. But with the full power of Baton Rouge on their side, the Tigers will be a tough out no matter what.

A win here should be enough to propel LSU to a berth in Atlanta, and maybe in the College Football Playoff if they finish at 10-2. You can’t overlook a trip to the Swamp, but LSU is a team that should be good enough to handle that environment. Home games against Vandy and OU should be wins for the Tigers as well.
