Power ranking the SEC after week 10: #14 - Mississippi State

State remains up at 14 for their functional offense. Congratulations!

Winning over UMass is expected, obviously. Allowing 20 points is not ideal. But the Bulldogs nonetheless got just their second win of the season this past weekend.

From here, though, the road remains pretty murky. I’m not quite sure that I see a chance for the Bulldogs in any of their upcoming games: at Tennessee, home against Missouri, and at Ole Miss.

They have the schedule on their side for the game against the Tigers, but it’s still a bit of a stretch to think they will emerge victorious there. If nothing else, though, the team has gotten better as the season has gone on—which has to be encouraging for State fans in Lebby’s first year.
