Power ranking the SEC after week 10: #11 - Florida

The Gators had a shot against Georgia, but it evaporated once DJ Lagway went down. While the prognosis is apparently more positive than initially believed, he still may not be able to return in time for this weekend’s trip to Austin.

Sitting at 4-4, the Gators will need to defeat one of Texas, LSU, or Ole Miss—not to mention FSU on rivalry weekend—if they want to make a bowl. That would be quite the achievement for a team with the toughest schedule in the country; one that well could have resulted in a 3-9 finish.

With Lagway, that seems achievable; without him, they’re up a creek. It all rides on whether the former five-star can return in time for this piece of the stretch run.
