Power ranking the SEC after week 11: #12 - Auburn

The Tigers got a merciful week off after a 1-5 stretch that dates back to the ugly loss to Arkansas. There’s really not much to be excited about as regards this season for Tiger fans, as there’s pretty much no way they can make it to bowl eligibility with A&M and Alabama still on the schedule.

The Tiger staff has to have their attention firmly on the transfer portal at the moment, both in the vein of keeping some big pieces and adding a signal caller in particular. Auburn does have five-star QB Deuce Knight committed, but I’m not sure he’s the answer as a true freshman.

With the talent they have at receiver on the Plains, though, you’d think that some highly-rated portal QB would be excited to head down there and play for Hugh Freeze this offseason. But I said the same thing last offseason, and it didn’t happen. So who knows!
