Power ranking the SEC after week 12: #1 - Ole Miss

The Rebels had the week off, but remain atop the conference for their blowout of Georgia last week. The losses to LSU and Kentucky continue to look pretty ugly, but the win over the Bulldogs will buoy the Rebs until the end of the year.

They need to make sure they take care of business down in the Swamp this week, but they’re a good matchup against this Florida squad. I don’t think that one ends up being particularly close, when all is said and done.

The Rebels need unfettered chaos to come down if they want to make it to Atlanta, but they’re in a great spot for the college football playoff. They may have to go on the road in round one, but simply getting in the tournament should be a huge positive for the Rebs given how well they’re playing at the moment.
