Power ranking the SEC after Week 5 - 14: Florida

The Gators had the week off, but the vibes continue to be pretty rancid down in Gainesville. At least they have the Florida State loss to laugh about this weekend, though!

There are rumors going around of DJ Lagway in a walking boot, the 1-3 record looks ominously like it may slide to 1-5 if something doesn't change, and Gator fans are wondering every single day if Lane Kiffin will, in fact, take their job.

Billy Napier just seems like he's a dead man walking down there. The fanbase's patience has all but completely run out by this point, and it almost feels like the Gator faithful would rather this team get destroyed so that they can be done with him sooner rather than later.

They have a legitimate shot to beat Texas next weekend, though, as both teams have extreme struggles on offense while excelling on the defensive side. If there's a distinct lack of scoring, one play or another could end up deciding things. Of course, it seems just as likely that they get completely blown out.
