Power ranking the SEC after week 6 - 3: Georgia

The Bulldogs took care of their business this week against the Kentucky Wildcats. That's about what you can say for this win— solid, if unspectacular in many ways.

Georgia ran up 35 points through the first three quarters before taking out Gunner Stockton. There are still some concerns with the offense's ability to produce at a high level, but they'll have a couple more chances to prove themselves before all is said and done.

The pass rush concerns are confounding, though. UGA has far too much talent to be producing at such a subpar level when it comes to pressuring the quarterback— maybe the loss of Damon Wilson to the transfer portal ended up affecting them more than anyone thought it would.

The road trip to Auburn this week will be a tricky one. It's always tough to win in Jordan Hare at night, and the Tigers are desperate right now for a victory. Kirby needs to navigate this difficult task if UGA wants to continue their contention for an SEC title.
