Power ranking the SEC after week 6 - 12: Auburn

Hugh Freeze's group had a week off as well to rest and recuperate after back to back weeks of being defensively dominated on the road. Happily for the Tigers, though, they get to return to the friendly confines of Jordan-Hare stadium this upcoming weekend for their next game— one which will be played at night!

The bad news there is that it will be against Georgia, who is still stinging from a loss to Alabama. Freeze has challenged the Bulldogs in his first two seasons as head coach, but hasn't quite been able to get the Tigers over the hump against them. If he does in this one, it could buy him some new life.

He has the tools to do it with that receiving corps and running back room, but whether the quarterback can make it happen is another question. This UGA defense isn't quite as dominant as we've seen in years past, and their sack rate in particular is surprisingly low, so maybe Jackson Arnold will have a little bit more time in this game.

This is an absolutely massive contest for the Tigers is the point. They have to somehow, someway get a win out of this or it could already be curtains for the Freeze era in Auburn.
