Week seven in the SEC brought one really huge upset as well as a couple of near misses in the upper ranks. Georgia and Ole Miss stayed alive against their lower-level opponents, but Oklahoma succumbed in a rivalry game to theirs.

So with all that in mind, who came out limping from week seven, and who came out smelling like a rose? Let's dive in to the SEC power rankings for week seven.

Power ranking the SEC after week 7: 16 - Kentucky

The Wildcats are in the basement until proven otherwise. After getting dominated by Georgia last week, they had a week off where attention was mercifully completely off of what's going on in Lexington, but they're back in the thick of things this weekend.

Mark Stoops's squad will host back to back ranked orange UT schools over the next two weeks, as Texas and Tennessee will both come to town. It would be a huge surprise for them to emerge with a win in either of those games, quite honestly, but never say never.

If they lose both of those, then bowl eligibility is almost completely out the window. I'm not confident that they'll beat Florida, Auburn, or Louisville, much less Vanderbilt— though they should get a win over Tennessee Tech!
