Texas A&M once more looks to be one of the most active schools in the country when it comes to adding portal talent this upcoming season. Elko was selective yet effective this past season in the portal compared to his first season, with the guys he got being fewer in number than the 2024 haul but contributing a heck of a lot more than that year.

I think we see the Aggies add a similar number of players to last offseason, but I think there will also be some massive swings in here that will shock Aggie fans. Here are three predictions for players that the Aggies add through the portal as soon as this upcoming week.

Predicting three Aggie transfer commits for Mike Elko: DB Ja'Bril Rawls

While Rawls is a player that not many Aggie fans may be familiar with, given that he's coming from the ACC, they should not underestimate him in the slightest. A guy that Liam Rooney of the Tallahassee Democrat called "arguably the Seminoles' best defensive player," Rawls would be a massive addition to the room for Texas A&M football.

Rawls declared his intention to enter the portal earlier this month, and has been a guy that many schools have taken a long look at since that point. The Aggies have a clear spot open for competition in the secondary despite returning three starters (assuming none of Brooks, Ratcliffe, or Ricks declare) and could use a player of his caliber.

Aggie fans should watch the former Seminole closely here. This could end up being a massive addition for Texas A&M if this comes to pass. The hire that the Aggies end up making to replace Jordan Peterson could be massive, but Ish Aristide is likely the man who can take the lead recruiting role here.
