The Texas A&M Aggies just lost a big one.
However, their SEC title hopes are actually still alive after their loss against Auburn.
After the game, Mike Elko, defensive tackle Albert Regis and quarterback Marcel Reed caught up with the media afterwards.
Mike Elko on finishing the game
"We had multiple chances to close the game and we just didn't do it."
Mike Elko on putting Marcel Reed in a tough spot
"We put our quarterback in a hole down 21 to nothing on the road and so, that's not a great way to play football."
Mike Elko on Reed performance
"I thought he did a nice job."
Mike Elko on moving past this loss
"This is back-to-back road games where we haven't been able to get it done."
Mike Elko on Terry Bussey to running back
"We didn't think it was right for him to move him to running back but, obviously he's a kid that's really good with the ball in his hands."
Albert Regis on loss
"It sucks, you know. You put so much into this game for moments like this, and they don't come around often and losing just hurts overall."
Albert Regis on 21-0 deficit
"I was on the sideline keeping everybody's head up."
Albert Regis on getting over loss
"We're over it by Monday because we're onto our next team which is Texas."
Marcel Reed on losing a tight one
"We still know that there's business to take care of and just because we lost today doesn't mean we're not going to get back to work this week and try to prepare to go get a win this week against Texas."
Marcel Reed on 1st quarter
"Coach talked to us about starting fast. We didn't start fast. We knew we had to get the run game going. Receivers had to get open. I think we did a great job of that in the second half."
