Returning Texas A&M football player graded as one of nation's best in important mark

Texas A&M football's offensive line is looking to be a huge strength next year, thanks in large part to how good one player has been in an important category.

Texas A&M football fans have been well pleased with how the offensive line has progressed from the end of the Jimbo Fisher regime into this year. The Addazio experiment ended in disaster for the Aggies, and the A&M OL was in a really bad spot.

Enter Mike Elko and Adam Cushing. The new coaching staff in College Station was intent on righting the wrongs of the previous era and they came in ready to just that.

Aggie fans saw immediately the difference that was made when the offensive line talent was coached up the rigth way. All of a sudden, the previously latent ability of the A&M offensive front was becoming actualized.

A big piece of that was adding some key transfers to the mix. Kolinu'u Faaiu was maybe the biggest add of the spring portal window last year, and he filled in admirably for the injured Mark Nabou, who was out for the season after the first game.

Without a doubt, though, the biggest add for the Aggies was former Kansas OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams. Reed-Adams was a big time tone setter up front for Texas A&M, and his play on the field backed up his attitude.

Ar'maj Reed-Adams grades out as best run blocker in P4; Returning OL for Texas A&M football can anchor stellar unit in 2025

So much so, in fact, that Reed-Adams has graded out, per Pro Football Focus, as the best run blocker at guard in the entire power four. That's pretty high praise for the Aggie OL.

Texas A&M will have a chance to roll out one of the best offensive line units in the conference, if not the nation, next year thanks to the development of their young guys and the returners that they have. There will be a lot of experience up front for the Aggies next year, and Ar'maj Reed-Adams is one of the biggest pieces in that puzzle.

Experience and seniority is one of the most important things you can have on an offensive line, so Reed-Adams could be one of the most important players on the entire Aggie team next year. I have a feeling 2025 will be an even better year for him than was 2024.
