Eli Drinkwitz re-ups at Mizzou days before 14-point victory over Arkansas
The Tigers found their way to a double-digit win over Arkansas this weekend despite just 25 passing yards from the arm of its starting quarterback. Beau Pribula attempted just seven passes on the day, but added in 16 of his team's 56 rush attempts in what was a 322-yard day on the ground.
The team got 100-yard performances from both Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts, and its massive edge on the ground paved the way to Mizzou's eighth win of the regular season. The Razorbacks had one of their slowest offensive performances of the season, and fell to 2-10 with the loss.
Both teams made waves in the coaching world as well: Missouri inked Eli Drinkwitz to a new six-year deal that keeps him with the Tigers through 2031, while Arkansas hired Memphis' Ryan Silverfield to be the Hogs head coach for 2026 and beyond.
Georgia punches ticket to SEC title game with low-scoring win over Georgia Tech
The Bulldogs seized the opportunity that Texas A&M provided them, beating their rival Yellow Jackets 16-9 and clinching a spot in the conference title game. This was far from a perfect outing from the Georgia offense, a group that averaged just 3.9 yards per play and found 70 yards through the air, but a 190-69 edge on the ground paved the way to a 10-minute advantage in the time of possession battle that helped keep Georgia Tech at bay.
Florida thumps Florida State before hiring Tulane's Jon Sumrall
The Gators found their way to their fourth win of the regular season in a 40-point outing at home against the rival Seminoles. Tailback Jaden Baugh had one of his best performances of the season, carrying the football 38 times for 266 yards and two scores, while quarterback DJ Lagway found three touchdowns through the air. Florida later announced that Jon Sumrall, the head coach at Tulane, would be taking over at Florida for the 2026 season and beyond.
