Rooting guide for Texas A&M football fans during bye week: Which results help or hinder the Aggies as they seek an SEC championship, playoff berth?

Texas A&M football has a much-needed bye week this Saturday as they regroup from the loss at South Carolina. The Aggies have a few things they need to figure out this weekend, but there are some huge games on the slate here that they'll be watching closely while they rest up.

Given that they still only have one conference loss with two games remaining, though, there's still a solid chance for A&M to make it to the SEC championship game. They are currently tied for first in the conference with Georgia, Texas, LSU, and Tennessee.

Nipping at their heels are two-loss Alabama and Ole Miss. Vandy also only has two losses in conference, but their road seems significantly tougher than the Tide and the Rebs.

Given this huge slate of games this weekend, here's who A&M fans should be cheering for.

Who should Texas A&M football fans want to win in Ole Miss vs. Georgia?

Texas A&M and Georgia do not play this year, but given the high win percentage of the Bulldogs' opponents and the SEC tiebreaker structure, UGA could still be one of the biggest threats to keep the Ags out of the championship game. The best thing for A&M would be that Georgia loses this game and beats Tennessee next week, so Aggie fans should be cheering for Ole Miss in this one.
