Texas A&M baseball vanquishes Cal Poly Mustangs in first game of weekend series
Texas A&M baseball has one of the most power-packed hitting lineups in the entire sport this year. Aggie fans get the privilege of watching Schott, LaViolette, Grahovac, and more hit dingers off of any and every opposing pitcher.
But maybe one of the best parts of this Aggie team is a little under-discussed. Ryan Prager, who very wel could have gone pro after being selected in the second round, has returned to Aggieland and is in tip-top form to start off the season.
The Aggies had to brave the elements in a big way for this one, which is normally tough for pitchers to work through. It was no problem for the pro-bound Prager, though, who mowed down batter after batter for the Mustangs en route to a start in which he didn't allow a single run.
Final: Texas A&M 6, Cal Poly 1.

The Aggie bats took care of the rest. Jacob Galloway had a ball that was just barely kept inside the park by the cold conditions, which stole a homer from him. Gavin Grahovac, though, had no such trouble on this mash.

LaViolette continues to be an absolute monster at the plate, too. Opposing pitchers are in a bind every single time he comes up to batβ he's nigh impossible to keep off the board in a given game.
