It was yet another cataclysmic weekend within the Southeastern Conference, as we were blessed with six in-conference battles and just about every one of them delivered on some incredible action. We already know that Texas A&M was able to separate itself from the visiting Florida Gators to a final tune of 34-17, so let's hop around the rest of the league and discuss what all transpired.
Auburn slowly falls apart in 20-10 loss to Georgia
This game at Jordan-Hare Stadium is garnering attention for all the wrong reasons, as officiating was at an all-time low in a contest that featured 17 combined penalties, egregious missed calls and a review process that caused the closing two minutes of the first half to last 36 minutes of real time.

This game was all Auburn in the first half — winning the time of possession battle 21:48 to 8:12 and outgaining the Bulldogs by 159 yards — until a controversial Jackson Arnold fumble at the goal line led to a Georgia field goal to close the second quarter. That 10-point swing seemed to kill all the life on the Tiger sideline, as they were outscored 17-0 with just 40 yards on offense in the second half. Georgia found touchdowns on runs from Chauncey Bowens and Gunnar Stockton and left the state of Alabama with its fifth win of the season.
Kirby Smart's team clearly doesn't have the same talent profile we've come to expect out of the Bulldogs, but they showed they still have the competitive edge to squeak out close games. Hugh Freeze is now 0-3 to start conference play with an all-time SEC record of 5-14, leaving many pondering the future of his tenure at Auburn, and making for a massive matchup with Missouri this weekend.
