While the Aggies continued on their perfect start to the 2025 season, holding off Arkansas to a final tune of 45-42, there was plenty of other action going on around the Southeastern Conference. Upsets, neck-and-neck battles and even a coach firing was seen this weekend, so let's catch up on everything that's transpired:

Kirby Smart's Bulldogs last men standings in 43-35 track meet with Ole Miss

Punts were at a premium in Athens this weekend, with Georgia and Ole Miss exchanging scores on every drive through the first three quarters in what was an amazing back-and-forth affair. Ole Miss was using its speed advantage on the perimeter to find several chunk plays, but Georgia always seemed to have a response and never let the game get out of reach.

Trinidad Chambliss was dealing through the first 45 minutes and finished the day with 305 yards of total offense and three total touchdowns, but the Bulldogs defense rose to the occasion in the fourth quarter with two three-and-outs and a forced turnover on downs.

That opened things up for Gunner Stockton and the Georgia offense to put things on ice, outscoring the Rebels 17-0 in the fourth quarter and securing the team's sixth win of the season. Stockton finished the day with 289 yards through the air and five total touchdowns, leading the Bulldogs on scoring drives every time aside from kneel-downs.

Both teams are now 6-1 on the season and behind just Texas A&M and Alabama in the SEC standings. Lane Kiffin's crew has some things to figure out defensively but an offense that should be able to match any opponent left on its schedule, meanwhile Kirby Smart's team proved again that they are capable of winning any style of game and a legitimate threat in the conference and national picture.
