Six possible transfer portal landing spots for Conner Weigman: Auburn
This is the one that I hope the most ardently does not come to fruition, but the one I worry the most about. That's because the Aggies are on Auburn's schedule next year.
I really think Weigman in Freeze's offense, with those receivers out wide, could be a patently deadly combination for the rest of the conference. Given that most of Auburn's quarterbacks have absconded via the portal, Weigman could be the guy that they target.
It wouldn't be good for the Aggies, but it would be a natural fit in a lot of ways. And for that reason, I hope it doesn't happen for A&M's sake—but I do think it would be a positive for no. 15 if that's the route he chooses.
