This is bizarre!

Yes. There is a world where Texas A&M and Texas athletes are on the same team.

Marcel Reed and Rueben Owens have teamed up for a Sonic ad with Terry Crews. Oddly enough, the ad contains Texas stars Colin Simmons, Ryan Wingo and Michael Taaffe. The ad essentially breaks the fourth wall for the athletes to act in the commercial. The ad is dubbed as the 'Terry Crews School of Acting for Athletes.'

This Sonic ad is weird enough, but it's also a chance for fans to explore the world of Texas and Texas A&M players coming together before their revenge attempt this November.

This isn't necessarily a period of downtime, but this is a chance for the players to get together before the season begins.

This isn't surprising to see Crews in the commercial because of his football history. All guys are supposed to read a script promoting Sonic food items, and the purpose was for Crews to turn athletes into actors and pass his school of acting for athletes.

The commercial begins with Crews explaining that NIL deals are everything to athletes today, and congratulations to these guys from both sides getting the opportunity. This is an opportunity for both fan bases to share a chuckle and see the lighter side of the competition.

Come November, these players will have forgotten all the handshakes and hugs. They will be on the field trying to embarrass one another. There was an on-field scuffle between the Aggies and Longhorns before kickoff in last year's game, and we're expecting more of the same this time around.
