Texas A&M basketball's ugly new uniforms are getting slammed by the entire internet

Texas A&M basketball has done a lot of great things this season. They've amassed one of the top resumes in the entire nation, they've bounced back from some major injuries, and they're set up well for a big run this March.

This Aggie team was one that many thought would be, hands-down, Buzz Williams's best since arriving in College Station. They have a lethal blend of talent and experience on this squad, and both of those factors have shown up time and time again as they've navigated possibly one of the toughest schedules this program has ever seen.

All that to say, there have been very few missteps surrounding the basketball program this season. Until this latest uniform announcement.

What are we... uh, what are we looking at, here?

I truly am not trying to be overly critical. I promise that's not my goal. But this looks roughly similar to something that someone made on Microsoft Word.

In no world should these have been greenlit. There is no flow or logic to the spacing, the "minimalist" design makes it look completely unfinished, and the gray color makes it look extremely bland.

In other words, there's really not much about it that's redeeming.

Fans around the internet began to dunk on the newest look for the Aggies (no pun intended). Even the Aggie faithful met these with a frosty reception.

Some fans were even apparently concerned that this could negatively affect the play on the court.

When you put out an on-court look so bad that you have people legitimately thinking "wow, this could be a setback for us," you've messed up.

Overall, the look is bad, which distracts from whatever message they were meaning to send. All that to say: it's bad. It's bad all around. Please do not wear these.
