Texas A&M basketball faces off against South Carolina this Saturday at Reed Arena in what amounts to a must-win game for the Aggies' tournament chances. Texas A&M projects to be a bubble team come Selection Sunday, barring this team hitting another gear and ripping off some top-10 wins, so they can't afford to drop a Quad 3 opportunity against the Gamecocks.
With a massive winter storm set to start moving in, though, there have been some changes to the schedule that will affect things for fans wishing to cheer on the Aggies, whether at Reed or at home. Texas A&M announced late last night that this game against South Carolina has been moved up to noon central time from its original broadcasting slot later in the afternoon.
Texas A&M basketball vs. South Carolina weather update: Showdown at Reed moved up due to weather concerns
A wintry mix is projected to come in early Saturday morning, but the real meat of the storm won't begin in College Station until later in the evening. There's a projected period of respite from about 2 PM until 7:30, at which point the precipitation will begin again in earnest.

Moving the game up to noon central will help time things so that fans, players, and staff can make it home safely before things start to get really dicey. This was the right move by the SEC and by both schools to move this game.
The announcement mentions that the game will now be broadcast on SEC Network+, meaning fans will have to access it through their online streaming apps or the SEC Network+ channel from their cable provider. Everyone with access to SEC Network should have access to SEC Network+, but it can be a bit more difficult to find as a rule.
One thing is for sure, though: Bucky Ball is really getting rolling in earnest now, and opponents are beginning to dread facing off against the Aggies. The Gamecocks are about to learn just how tough of a system this is to play against.
