A team with such low expectations has a chance to take the roof off of Reed Arena on Saturday night.

For a week, Texas A&M held the title as the best of the SEC, but now, they see themselves tied with the defending champion Florida Gators. The Gators haven't been as strong as some expected, but they are right there with the Ags in the SEC. This sets the Aggies up for some superstition to work in their favor come Saturday.

Texas A&M will be wearing blackout uniforms vs. Florida

The No. 1 Auburn game was a testament to what this program can do when they have the right mindset. It was also the game that basically spoon-fed Cooper Flagg the National Player of the Year award.

This time, Florida isn't No. 1, but the stakes feel higher. The Gators and the Ags are tied in the SEC standings, and this is a perfect opportunity for the Aggies to take that title back. It wasn't in the cards for the Aggies to be in this conversation, but here we are.

This one feels more personal than the Auburn game last year. Texas A&M was in the middle of the pack in the SEC, but this is a chance to take down the defending national champs at home. There aren't many chances when that comes about.

It's also a chance for the fans to see what Bucky and his guys can do. This is a weekend game inside Reed Arena against the defending champs in a blackout.

Blackout games have gone historically well for the Aggies, but if they pull this one off, this has a chance to be the sweetest blackout win in Aggie history.
