Bucky McMillan and Texas A&M Basketball travel to Norman tomorrow night as they take on Porter Moser and the Oklahoma Sooners. The Aggies come into the matchup with an 18-8 overall record, 8-5 in the SEC, and 43rd in the NET rankings. The Sooners come in with a 13-13 overall record, 3-10 record in SEC play, and 69th in the NET rankings.

The Aggies really need a win tomorrow, as it will likely be a quad 1 road win for them, so long as the Sooners can stay in the top 75 of the NET rankings. A Quad 1 win tomorrow will likely get them to the top of the 10 seed line or bottom of the 9 seeds. The Aggies are currently projected as a 10 seed for the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately for Oklahoma, they will likely need to win the SEC tournament to make the NCAA tournament.

Texas A&M basketball faces another must-win prospect in Oklahoma

The Aggies have a slight advantage on paper in tomorrow night's matchup. With a slight advantage in 3-point shooting, free throw shooting, rebounding, and points per game, the Aggie are looking to use those advantages to pull out the victory. Oklahoma does have a slight advantage when it comes to giving up fewer tunovers per game. That is a battle that the Aggies will definitely need to win tomorrow.

Oklahoma is primarily carried by the guard duo of Nigel Pack and Xzayvier Brown who combined average just under 32 points per game. The Aggies have seen them before and got absolutely dominated on the glass. The Aggies will need to keep things close on the boards in order to take out the Sooners once again.

The Aggies will need to do what they do best offensively: Hit 3s and make layups or get to the free throw line. The Aggies have struggled lately from 3, but with the resurgence of Ruben Dominguez on Wednesday, hopefully the Aggies can get more 3s to fall tomorrow night because the Oklahoma contingent of forwards will be tough to go up against down low.

This game will likely be a close one once again. I would expect nothing less. Check back tomorrow night after a hopeful Aggie victory for our full reaction and analysis of tomorrow night's game.
