Texas A&M basketball has tipped off with a questionable start to the season so far. With losses against Oklahoma State and UCF after wins against Northwestern State and Texas Southern, fans started scratching their heads after a couple of explosive offensive performances to start the season.

There's no reason for Aggies fans to panic, and if anything, a monster injury update should have Texas A&M basketball fans back on their feet.

Texas A&M head coach Bucky McMillan made a stunning revelation on the Aggie Basketball Hour about one of his star players, and fans should be excited for Mackenzie Mgbako to make his much-anticipated debut.

The former Freshman of the Year from the Indiana Hoosiers is about to shine. The Aggies have scored 98 points and 104 points in their respective victories this season, and they're hoping to have the former Hoosier showcase his talents.

The chemistry will take a little bit of time. We all know that, as any new coach and team will go through the same growing pains, but the feeling with Bucky is different. "Bucky Ball" is coming to the Aggies, and the beautiful ball movement is clearly a different style from the bully ball that Buzz Williams used to emphasize.

Florida State, SMU and Pittsburgh are the big non-conference schools most fans will be watching for late November into December. Luckily, Mgbako will be participating in those affairs, respectively.

There was some fear among the Aggie faithful that Mgbako would leave after an impressive NBA Draft Combine performance, but he settled that problem quickly. His impressive debut led to the best of both worlds for the Ags. A future NBA player is committing to playing for McMillan.

His much-anticipated debut will be what Aggies fans have wanted, and they're going to get it real soon.
