For Texas A&M, it's Samford week. The week to ensure that everything is prepared before the much-anticipated Lone Star Showdown in Austin for Black Friday.

Mike Elko is always doing everything in his power to not look past anything other than the week of the game itself, which is understood. It's college football— nothing is ever given to you. It has to be earned. If Texas A&M does end up earning a win and going 11-0, they will have the Texas Longhorns to look forward to.

Texas A&M defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim was asked how he felt about facing Texas, and he gave the answer that all Texas A&M fans will love to hear.

Tyler Onyedim reminds fans he's already familiar with facing Texas

Onyedim is from Richmond, TX, right down the road from Houston, TX. He's no stranger to the Texas-Texas A&M rivalry.

"I played Texas when they were in the Big 12. I feel like it's going to be a good game. I know they're a really good team, and we're a really good team, so I'm excited to play them. "

It's a different team every year, and sure, he's played against Quinn Ewers, not Arch Manning. He's still been able to play against Steve Sarkisian and has some idea as to how UT might operate.

The former Cyclone is one of the many transfer additions that have made a difference for the Aggies this season, and his presence has been felt all season with 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. It will take a lot to slow down Arch Manning, but the A&M pass rush definitely has the manpower to do it.

Texas A&M has had a lot of fun this season, but nothing would be more fun than getting revenge against UT. Onyedim is going to be a huge part of that defense that the Aggies sorely missed in 2024.
