Texas A&M fans have known all week that this game will come down to the dynamic man behind center wearing the maroon and white. Marcel Reed has grown game by game this year for the Aggies, having the luxury to figure things out behind a dominant offensive line and run game, and is coming off of his best game of the year last week up in Fayetteville.

It was his insertion into the game last year that spelled doom for the Tigers, as they had no answer for his legs affecting the run game. The hope is that he can have a similar effect in this one, as the Tigers struggled mightily with the run game from Diego Pavia last year as well.

It makes sense, then, that leading up to this game, Reed is the man that the Aggies are pinning everything on. With the game in Death Valley just about to get underway, he's who fans are placing their hope in.

Marcel Reed is the man of the hour for Texas A&M fans ahead of pivotal LSU showdown

This interview he had with College Gameday was what set the tone for the Aggies in this game, as A&M fans everywhere were watching closely to see what he had to say.

Many Aggie fans have this same reaction about their Heisman candidate ahead of this game.

Marcel is one of the best guys you'll ever meet, just on a human level, and this clip from the interview shows that beautifully.

This line from Reed had Aggie fans charged up, no doubt.

Even Tiger fans are afraid of him:

He's been getting a lot of deserved recognition nationally, here from Ralph Russo:

Reed is the guy who will carry this Aggie team wherever they will go. He's the one who can bring Texas A&M to the heights they want to climb to this year. We'll see what he can do tonight in Death Valley.
