Since Texas A&M football has stolen the show across campus, it seems like everything else has become a blur.
Texas A&M basketball just got the news about their non-conference schedule, and from the way it looks, first-year head coach Bucky McMillan may be walking out of here with a clean sweep— that is, if the cards fall where they should.
Of course, some fans would say that's a lot to ask for, but after looking at this schedule, it wouldn't be completely out of line for dreams of a non-conference clean sweep to come true.

The closest competition that Texas A&M might have here is SMU. Oklahoma State really hasn't been the team that were in the past. Their former No. 1 pick, Cade Cunningham is officially a thing of the past, and recruiting hasn't been that kind to the Pokes since the NIL era began.
The SEC might tie their record of teams making the March Madness tournament in 2026, and A&M might be one of them. McMillan's squad is predicted to play in his first March Madness tournament as head of an SEC team. Buzz Williams left the Aggies in a bind, but they've bounced back, and now it's time to see what one of the hottest coaches in the country can do.
The best way for McMillan to win fans over is for 'Buckyball' to have its full effect. Fans were pretty empty in the bleachers during some of the more important games during SEC play last season. With Lunardi predicting A&M around 11 or 12 for March Madness, it's within that bubble of a first four out and a first four in.
Just getting in the tourney would be special, but anything more shows that McMillan is the right guy for the job. He's got a nice non-conference bid to start his Texas A&M tenure, but this could be the start of something much bigger.
