KC Concepcion and Mario Craver have been arguably the best WR duo in the SEC this season.
With much speculation about Concepcion's future, he decided to pause on that to focus on the College Football Playoff and give some more thought to his future later on. During a Monday press conference, Concepcion may have given some much-needed hope for Texas A&M fans for 2026, as the NC State transfer says he needs some time to think about his plans for the future.
Concepcion coming back would be one of the best storylines for Texas A&M. His depth has been a major improvement to the WR room compared to last season, and all fans can do is hope that he comes back for what could be another all-star season for him.
KC Concepcion has yet to make a decision on his future for 2026
"I have not made a decision yet. Talking with my coaches, talking with my parents. We're going to put our trust in God. Whatever he has in store for my future, we're going to go like that."KC Concepcion
In Concepcion's first season, he has done everything to make NC State regret losing him. The junior receiver has 1,409 all-purpose yards this season, and has committed himself as an every-down player.
Concepcion has immediately fit the system, and it would make perfect sense for him to come back. On the other hand, if anyone has made their resume to make an NFL roster, look no further than KC.
It's always a football player's dream to play in the NFL, and if he does decide to go that route, Texas A&M fans will respect that. We've seen what Reed and Concepcion have become this season, and they've only made each other better. It would also make perfect sense for Concepcion to stay, considering Marcel Reed has said that he wants to stay at Texas A&M as well.
It's a big decision, and either way, Texas A&M fans should be supportive.
