Texas A&M football receives commitment from 2026 LB Storm Miller

Texas A&M football just keeps adding to what is already an extremely loaded 2026 group. The Aggies have the chance to challenge for a top-3 spot in the rankings when all is said and done, and every successive eventuality makes that outcome look more and more likely.

The Aggies are hosting some top-shelf talent nowadays, and they keep improving their standing with some of the most coveted names in the country. Even players coming in without much background with the coaches are seeing the vision that Mike Elko and company are casting.

Such is the case with the Aggies' most recent commitment, Storm Miller. Flying a little bit under the radar right now, Miller is a four-star linebacker out of Ohio who chose the Aggies over a litany of the top programs in the Big 10.

This is a great pickup for the Aggies, who continue to strengthen their out-of-state class. All but two of the A&M commits are from outside the state of Texas, reinforcing A&M as a national brand.

That strategy does come with some risk, though, as we've seen. The Aggies held a longtime commitment from North Carolina DL Trashawn Ruffin before Bill Belichick made a huge push to flip Ruffin to the Tar Heels.

So will the Buckeyes attempt the same thing with Miller? You can't rule that out. But with how quickly he fell in love with the campus and program, committing after his first-ever visit to College Station, it looks like the Aggies will be a strong player no matter what happens. Given that he's now committed, of course, A&M will do everything they can to keep that status.
