Texas A&M football continues building towards special 2026 class with pledge from star WR Madden Williams
While Texas A&M football fans are still yet upset over the bowl performance— and there's a lot there to dig into still— the recruiting staff for this team is hard at work. They are pretty much completely done for this current 2025 cycle, having closed on all their targets, and are now looking to 2026.
The Aggies have been building towards a big 2026 class ever since Elko and this staff arrived on campus. 2025 was a big year, yes, but this 2026 class is the first one that they've had two full years to pour into on the trail.
They've had some great returns thus far. The Aggies' current class ranks 2nd in the nation for that year, and they still have their eyes on some huge targets that have yet to commit.
That said, another domino just fell in their favor. The Aggies continue to add big time talent to this class with the commitment of Madden Williams, a 4-star WR from California. Williams picked the Aggies over such luminaries as Ohio State, Texas, and Oregon.
This is a big time pickup for the Aggies, who continue to remake their wide receiver room through both the high school ranks and the portal. Holmon Wiggins, after initially coming under fire for his recruiting with Texas A&M, now has some major skins on the wall in both arenas.
Williams joins Aaron Gregory as receivers in the 2026 class. The Ags are looking to add a few more, including some really high-end talent, but this is a great start.
