Key Texas A&M football offensive lineman Ar'Maj Reed-Adams announces return to Aggieland for 2025
Texas A&M football fans have to be overjoyed right now. Not long after star running back Le'Veon Moss announced his return to Aggieland for the 2025 campaign, the Ags just got another piece of similarly huge news.
Ar'maj Reed-Adams has been an irreplaceable piece of this Aggie offensive line this year. The Kansas transfer came in as a tone-setter for the attitude that the Ags needed to have up front, and he delivered in a huge way on that count.
The A&M offensive line looked far improved, especially in run blocking, than the unit that we've been watching over the past two years. Though Adam Cushing deserves his flowers for that transformation, we can't neglect the part that Reed-Adams played in that overhaul; his attitude and physicality have been huge for the Ags this year.
While some assumed that he would simply be a one-year player before he moved on, Reed-Adams has another year of eligibility. He announced today that he is choosing to exercise that eligibility and return to Texas A&M football for another year.
Reed-Adams' return is one of the biggest factors for this offensive line next year. If Trey Zuhn comes back, then you're likely looking at all five starters returning for next year, a luxury the Aggies have not had for quite some time— the 2020 season is the last one that jumps to mind.
Of course, we all know how special that 2020 OL group was. With the strides we saw this crew take, through a lot of injuries, it should be said, this could be just as good of a unit next year.
And that, Aggie fans, would be exciting.
