Grading and impact of Texas A&M football's transfer portal additions: WR Micah Hudson

And now we come to the elephant in the room. It's still unclear what exactly is going on with Hudson— if you ask three different people, you'd get three different answers. Rumors have been flying about, saying everything from it is a very temporary absence to he has rejoined Texas Tech.

Neither of those seem to be true as of right now. It appears, from all available information, that Hudson is actually considering stepping away from football altogether for good. If that happens, all the best to him, but it would be a shame.

Of course, he needs to look out for himself, but his talent is astronomical. It's less so a question of which team will feature that talent right now, though, and more so a question of if anyone will.

Even if he returns at this point, his impact for the upcoming season will probably not be huge. If he came back as soon as possible, he'd be a bit behind, and wouldn't see the field until later in the season. This would have been an easy A if not for everything that's recently gone on, but it seems less and less likely that he'll make any difference for the Aggies this season.
