Texas A&M football fans were extremely pleased overall with the improvement along the offensive line this past year. The combo of a few key transfers along with new coach Adam Cushing led to A&M's offensive front looking far better than it had in the previous few years.
Even through several injuries, the Aggies' front remained stout. The Ags lost Mark Nabou in the first game of the season, who was replaced by Kolinu'u Faaiu. Faaiu himself was in and out of the lineup at different points, and the now-departed TJ Shanahan filled in for him.
Through all of the tumult, though, it was key to keep one stalwart in that position group. That, this previous year, was Trey Zuhn: a redshirt junior and offensive captain. Well-respected and well-liked by teammates, Zuhn's presence was huge for the Aggies this past year, leading to him receiving all-SEC honors after the season.
There had been a question of whether Zuhn would be returning to Aggieland, however. After the year he had, it would make sense if he wanted to explore his options in the NFL. When the deadline for underclassman declaration passed, though, it seemed to signal a positive result for Aggie fans.

Zuhn's retention is absolutely massive for the Aggies. With his return, A&M should bring back every single offensive lineman from last year, making for a quite formidable and experienced group up front. The versatility and ability that this offers coach Adam Cushing has to have him pretty excited for what he can accomplish.
Glad to have you back, Trey! Here's hoping next year is even better than the last.
