Texas A&M football seeking to flip five-star receiver Jerome Myles from USC; Blue-chipper set to visit Aggies for Texas game
Texas A&M football is putting together a really positive year in the win column, already defying many preseason expectations in that and other regards. If there's one area in which the Aggies need some solid help, though, it's wide receiver.
Many fans are expecting the Aggies to address this in a big way in the upcoming portal window. Now that there's a huge positive buzz around the Aggies, the hope is that they'll be able to parlay that into some big pickups out wide—there's always a lot of competition for portal receivers, but the Ags have more of a leg up this cycle than they did directly after Elko arrived.
But the lifeblood of college football programs remains the high school ranks. The Ags have some exciting talents committed on that front, Kelshaun Johnson chief among them, but they're still looking to add to that.
They're beginning to position themselves well to do just that. A longtime target of the Aggies, 5-star Jerome Myles—who is currently committed to USC—has confirmed that he will be visiting Texas A&M for the final game of the year.
Myles is a huge receiver who is also a true deep threat. He is the teammate of current 2026 Aggie QB commit Helaman Casuga. With this being one of the biggest games of the whole year, and coming dierectly before signing day, it's a prime game to leverage in order to pull off a flip. Here's hoping they do just that.
